ROBO Bill of Materials is a total MRP solution. The bill of materials software has a core inventory which complex multi-level bills of materials can be constructed with ease. In addition to this the software manages material stocks, purchase orders, works orders, quotes and customer orders.

With ROBO Bill of materials you have total control over your stock. You can easily search for parts, find the quantities, reorder levels, quantity available, allocated quantity, lead time, orphaned parts and more.

Inventory

The inventory is the core part of the data in the software. The inventory can be imported into the software through a CSV (comma separated value) file or entered through the dialog box. Three different costs per part can be entered in addition to the weight. For the quantities the quantity on hand, allocated quantity and available quantities are recorded.

Advanced attributes like custom fields, comments, file locations and URL addresses can be added. It is possible to search where parts are used in bill of materials, purchase orders, works orders and customer orders. In addition it is possible to search for allocated shortages, stock below min. value and orphaned parts (parts which are not in a bill of materials.

Bill of Materials

The bill of materials are constructed using the bill of materials editor. Here it is possible to add, edit, delete or even duplicate a bill of materials from another parent part no. Bills of materials can be created with a maximum of 14 levels deep (in reality it is very rare to go beyond 6 levels when constructing a bill of materials).

It is possible to view the bill of materials as an indented multi level, single level or just top level. In addition to printing out the bill of materials, they can also be exported as a CSV file.

Purchase Orders

Purchased orders can be created where parts can be ordered. These can be printed out in a very professional looking format using the report editor. Parts can be added, edited or deleted from the purchase order. It is also possible to enter negative quantities in the event of stock having to be returned.

It is possible to search for purchase orders by using a date range, vendor, status or even those containing a part no.

Works Orders

Works orders also can be created using ROBO Bill of Materials. These can be printed out in a very professional looking format using the report editor. Parts can be added, edited or deleted from the works order. It is also possible to enter negative quantities in the event of stock having to be returned to the inventory.

It is possible to search for works orders by using a date range or even those containing a part no.

Quotes and Customer Orders

Quotes and customer orders can also be created in ROBO Bill of Materials. With the quotes and customer orders it is possible to add, edit or delete part no.s. A quote can also be upgraded into a customer order. Customer orders also contain tracking information like date quoted, date required, date invoiced, date supplied and date paid.

Quotes and customer orders can also be search by the job no., invoice no., customer as well as a range of date searches.


Other Functions

ROBO Bill of Materials also lets you enter in your customers, vendors and billing information. The advanced version also allows for full data exporting from the database as well as sales statistics.
